Baby Quinn

This is the story of Julian and Clemmie's little star.  At present the due date for Baby Quinn is 3rd July 2004...Daddy's Birthday!  We visited St Mary's Hospital, Portsmouth for an Ultrasound Scan 8th Jan 2004, the heart was beating and the head was bobbing around so much that the Sonographer had difficulty measuring!  The length from crown to rump was 11.8cm and Baby was already swallowing amniotic fluid..it even had a full belly. 

Two pictures in one!  The left side of the picture shows a birdseye view of Baby.  The back of the head and spine are clearly visible (head far left).  The second part of the picture shows a front profile of Baby's face. You may have to tilt your head to see this one!  You can clearly see the two sides of the brain, the eye sockets (spooky alien like) Mummy's nose and Daddy's lips!

This is exactly how Baby was lying in the stomach (should you happen to be looking at Clemmie face on).  Although this picture isn't as clear you are still able to make out the spine and the profile of Baby's head (hey have you ever tried to scan a scan!?). Unfortunately the scan didn't pick up the arms and legs  but we can assure you they were there!
